Introduction
This test assesses your competence in modern Hebrew. It is recommended that you have two to four years of Hebrew language study in high school, or a gradual development of competence in Hebrew over a period of years. This test is offered at all test centers in June only.

To assess your competence in modern Hebrew
- Vocabulary and structure questions test your familiarity with definitions, parts of speech, and your ability to recognize appropriate language patterns.
- Reading comprehension questions are based on passages adapted from literary sources, advertisements, and newspaper or magazine articles.
- Some passages have biblical references, but no material is written in biblical Hebrew.
- All items are vocalized, except one reading passage and the advertisements.
